Race: Human
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Occupation/Class: Ninja
Clan: The Katsu clan -- A prominent clan that was founded by the great Hideko Katsu, a notorious swordsman who, down on his luck, went into assassination. With those assassinations, others became immersed about his unique swordsmanship and a group of students (more notably the great-great-grandfather of Ryo, Osamu Suzuki), followed behind him and trained with Hideko. Together, the group became a small clan, using their services a monetary gain. However, due to outrageous murders, Hideko was to be hunted down and killed. Of course, he wasn't going to be captured so fled, his students and their savings behind them. Moving to Honshū, the clan decided to live a lower profile, allowing those only either family entrance in the clan.
Over the years, the clan grew although not as big as one would think. By Ryo's birth, the clan (Still keeping the name Katsu), was about three-hundred strong, although mostly scattered in different parts of the world, some staying in Honshū or others living other places. The clan is controlled by heads of the Katsu family -- any child born with the blood of Katsu is eligible for control over the clan. The clan had no specialties in any fields as they were talented in different tasks, though they have completed assassinations, invasions, captures, kidnappings, etc. Though this may make them seem like a horrid bunch, they have donated to smaller villages and the like with their earnings.
Rank: Genin
Orientation: Heterosexual
Physical Description: The young ninja, forced into a life of battle and stealth, has been able to keep his sensitive boyish charms and looks, albeit some scratches and scars that may be on his mug. Gleaming with intensity and ambition, Ryo's pupils are a deep shade of blue, cradled in eyes which display emotions to the fullest (wide and innocent, to narrowed and lethal). Finally completing his facial features is his spiky black hair in desperate need of care.
Unlike many others, the young genin's bodily structure is more masculine than one would expect. While it doesn't match a grown man's, it is well above the normal teenager with small hints of abdominal muscles growing and tightening as well as triceps, biceps, the like. Although having this mild physique, Ryo's weight and height is a bit on the short side. Ryo's style of clothing is somewhat odd as though he isn't enrolled in any martial arts classes, he favors the martial arts lightweight Gi, perfect for warm and hot weather and faster movement.
Although he may dress like a peasant in public, when it is time to 'gear up' for what he lives for -which is being a ninja- his garb, an all-black Shinobi shōzoku fitting for the young man,
Personality Description:
Ryo is still a kid, no matter how one looks at him or how much training and skills are shoved down his throat. Ryo is one that is always seen with a mischievous gleam in his eye, trying to find something to get into or a person's skin to get under. Ryo is a prankster; what he loves more than anything is to create petty traps and tricks for the unfortunate to get into, for his amusement of course. This child is very hyper, able to go days on end doing something that he enjoys.
Though he may not act like it, when the situation calls for it, he can be a very dedicated person, not falling until he is literally unable to. This may be from simply trying to complete a goal to complete a fight that may have the odds packed on him. Ryo is one that, he believes, won't run from a situation that calls for a 'hero', in which he must be that hero. Battered and beaten, as long as there is a glimmer of chance, Ryo would be there to grasp that glimmer and see the job done.
Relationship: His relationship with his parents and other clansmen is that of any other. Of course, he has his parental love with his mother and father, though can get aggravated with them or the like as any teenager could. The same with his clansmen; though they would more as extended family.
His most noticeable relationship is with his older sister, Akari Suzuki. As kids, they were at tough competition with her gaining upper hand on Ryo in staggering contests. She was stronger, more flexible, smarter and emotionally stable than Ryo, although Ryo manages to beat her in the stages of speed and agility. Their relationship is like that of any other sibling; they can be at each others throat but at those calm and sentimental times, can be perceived as the best of friends. Although this may be a bit shaky:
Akari is more mature than Ryo, because of this is his usual guardian. She sees Ryo's antics as irritating, often disciplining him for when he gets into trouble (usually by a smack or tug of the ear, although to some extreme and now Ryo's pet peeve, she will forcibly restrain him or bind him to the nearest object). As the eldest, Akari takes the watchful eye seriously, but also being the 'coach' in the background,
giving Ryo advice, teaching him what she knows, etc. As stated before, their relationship isn't all competition and discipline.
Though hating to admit it, Ryo realizes that his sister is better at the ninja business although he idolizes her (though would probably not admit it aloud). He respects her talent and vise versa, although she would be more to encourage it and congratulate, opposite of Ryo. The two are inseparable; they have no trouble giving their last breath for the others' life. Needless to say they're rivals and best friends sharing the last name and parents.

History:
It was midnight when Ryo was born, a handful and onlooking members of the clan stood in support as the baby was crying when being embraced in the new world. There was his family, consisting of his father, mother, and older sister (by some years), looking at awe. When asked for the name, with a relaxed demeanor, uttered the child's name. "Ryo, Ryo Suzuki."
Ryo grew into the life of the clan, like his sister, being trained at a young age. When he was about five and his sister seven, he began to learn with his father and other members of the clan about the basics of being a ninja. In the daytime, while they became educated with the necessary things (math, etc), though strenuous training was incorporated with it: Swimming, running, etc. At night, however, they were taught to move stealthily and quietly, improving their sight at night, and martial arts. All the while training, the two got better and with the years, grew stronger and almost matched each other. For his ninth birthday, Ryo was presented with a task that tested his abilities. For this task, he had to kill the nobleman of a family that terrorized an ally family. Though it was a bit... extreme, in order to be a ninja no stops could be pulled. Ryo traveled there and completed his task, becoming a fully fledged ninja.
After some consoling from his sister, Ryo forgot about it and decided to have as much fun as he could, before getting to serious to have to carry out orders like that. Thus, Ryo now a ninja, did exactly that. Training, fighting, and goofing off to this day, Ryo is being just Ryo.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Ryo's biggest strength, as of being a ninja of course, is stealth and deception. Growing up, he was trained to move quickly and lightly, not making too much noise or barely any noise at that matter. With his stealth, he is able to sneak about in the night, using his surroundings to cover his petite body. Although his stealth does not rely on the night though, as he is able to maneuver in the daylight, using crowds and the environment for quick escapes, captures, assassinations, etc. With deception, although still shaky on it, compliments the stealth; Ryo is able to climb trees, go into disguises and become a very convincing actor when the situation calls for it.
Another strength is his flexibility and strength. His flexibility allows him to run on walls, climb trees, move faster and do various flips and movements that other bodies would have trouble doing. His strength is that of any other though. Ryo would rely more on flexibility than his basic strength, since punches and kicks alone may cause pain, it is not anything for one to stress over. Basically, he is not the same strength of a demon or an adult that works out.
Ryo's greatest weakness though is that he is, in fact still, a kid. Being a kid, he can be immature, won't take things as serious as others, playful, and now entering his teen years and is more educated about anatomy and the like, can now be seduced by other women. Although more strategic and enduring than other kids his age (and older), he is, still, a kid.
Another weakness is that Ryo is a bit emotional, hiding it behind an exterior of toughness. Rather than letting out anything, he keeps it pent up inside of him, finding release of stress and clearing of his mind with missions and other activities of fun. Although he has siblings and other members of the clan, he would rather show no weakness towards them and would a person outside of the clan. With him being emotional, his emotions can be played with if tugged hard enough.
Weapons/Armor:
Wire -- The wire has various uses for Ryo, although it is basically used for binding his enemies (and others for amusement) in a tight and constricting way.
Smoke grenade -- What ninja could call themselves a ninja without a smoke grenade? A lame one. No explanation would be needed either -- he throws it down, a cloud of smoke appears and Ryo gets the hell out of there.
Ninjatō -- Ryo's favorite sword, a basic sword found common with those ninja. The sword fits his small demeanor, lying on his back resting in a sheath which comes around his lower back. The sword itself is good for concealment and quick stabs and slashes.
Shuriken -- Throwing stars. Ryo carries around four.
Other than that, Ryo carries no armor. Being a ninja teaches him to stay on his feet and evade danger, plus h would hate the idea of taking damage head-on anyway.
Magic: The only magic that Ryo knows is the magic that he produces with the cover of night. Otherwise, he's simply a lowly human.

"Yours!" He shouted, throwing his bowl of rice at her, the kunoichi ducking and giving him an annoyed glare. Their parents had been gone and an argument had taken place, one filled with yelling and insults which would undoubtedly turn into a physical fight which would have the two chasing each other around the backyard to cause the other in pain. Now though, they were in the kitchen and the two had aggravated looks on their faces.
"Why should I argue with a child?" His sister scoffed, folding her arms and turning away from him. Ryo hopped on the table, pointing his index finger at his sister's face and furring his brows. The immature ninja sighed heavily and began to talk, rather loudly as well.
"You're the child, stupid kunoichi! You fail in comparison to me," He determined, smiling in triumph. His sister, seeming to have enough of her younger brother, grabbed his leg and with no effort at all, swept him from the table and sent him crashing on the ground. When his bottom made contact with the wood floor, she giggled and placed her hands up, making an innocent face.
"You know mother hates feet on her tables," She said. Ryo, now having enough at this point, rose and sent two kicks to his sister, those which she blocked and quickly backed up. Her face, instead of having an annoyed look, had one with a sly grin, motioning her younger brother to come closer. Ryo, at this point with a hot temper, dashed to her, sending a varied of kicks and punches at her with her doing the same. She used her strength and flexibility, Ryo used his unparalleled speed against her. With his speed, he rolled under her and managed to get a leg sweep in, sending her body to the floor. However, bare feet made contact with Ryo's chest as his sister recovered from the fall.
"Like I said, you lose compared to me!" He shouted. As she ran forward to him, he moved to the outside using a series of back-flips to get to the center quicker. The two squared off, doing the same as before, though with Ryo making a mistake. When he kicked, instead of aiming at her stomach he aimed for her ribcage in which she anticipated, grabbed his leg and lifted him off the ground. When up in the air, Ryo held on to her shoulders and tumbled, throwing them both on the ground.
"Alright Ryo-Ryo, you're going to get it now..." She commented, rolling to get on her feet. Ryo somersaulted and used the backyard tree to gain leverage. When on his feet, he jumped in the branches and climbed higher, trying to use a bird's eye view to find an opening on his sister. His sister, deciding to end this as quickly as possible, grabbed spare rope and followed her brother up the tree.
The battle ensured on the tree, Ryo hanging upside-down to get a slap in on his sister missing and her trying to pull him from the branch. Instead, Ryo jumped from the branch and wrapped his legs around his sister, trying to pull her down. However, Ryo ended up crashing to the ground, his sister falling gracefully on her feet.
"Whose the better one now?" She asked, collecting the rope from the branch. Ryo slowly rose, pulling leaves from his hair. The kunoichi grabbed his shirt and pushed him to the tree, socking him in the stomach and pushing him back on the tree again. Now showing her speed, ran around the tree a number of times, wrapping the rope around Ryo. Finally, she stopped when reaching the back of the tree, pulled the rope tight and fastened a tight rope before examining her handiwork.
"You're going to feel my wrath when I get out!" He shouted, squirming though showing no avail. She laughed and moved towards him, pulling his cheek before ruffling his hair.
"The kunoichi wins. Come face me when you get better," she said, making her way towards the house, leaving Ryo in the backyard to the tree, leaving escape on his own. He sighed and shook his head and began to get to work squirming... and squirming... and squirming.
