The rain wasn't helping. It had been sort of chilly, and everything was drenched. Either way, the yōkai had been somewhat hopeful she'd run into an inn sooner or later. The town she had entered was quiet, aside from the soft pattering of rain against hut and house rooftops. She glanced down at the muddy street, not a single human, or person in sight. After a few moments, the black clad woman continued down the street. Her long black hair stuck to her ghastly white face and her clothing hadn't been spared from the water either. Her arms were wrapped around a brown haversack, presumably to protect it from the water, though it seemed her attempts were fruitless.
Kage turned as soon as the street she was on permitted, finding the adjacent road just as empty as the other. Her stark red eyes scanned carefully for an inn, or perhaps a shop, or something she could seek refuge in. But much like the last street, this one was just houses.
After sometime, she did finally manage to find a shop. However, the human shop keeper turned her away, discerning Kage's appearance as something other than normal. The yōkai, somewhat disheartened found a place to shit down, not far from the shop she had just come from. She sat herself down in the mud, setting her bag down next to her. Kage pushed up her heavy, black sleeves, before gently wiping the mud from her bare feet. It seemed sort of pointless to do so, as she wiped the mud onto her clothing. A moment passed and the woman sat her feet down again, this time on the top of her bag to avoid the mud. She placed her hands in her lap, glancing upwards at the cloudy, dark sky. The sun had been fading in the horizon and it seemed that dusk was upon her.
